I don't know what happened. My speakers are hooked on the back, nothing seems out of place but when I press the POWER button, nothing happens. It simply doesn't turn on ( the little green light is out! ). I don't know what to do! Can somebody please help me? I'm getting desperate.
PS. I have a Windowns XP Home Edition ( Compaq ) and my speakers are FLC Presario Speaker System.

Hello
Pretty simple make sure it's plugged in and if you check that and still no power toyour speakers, check your outlet, if all that checks out and your outlet is fine and working go out and purchase some new speakers.

Hello I have a pair of Presario FLC Speaker System but it doesn t produce any sound I ve checked all on system and even downloaded the drivers from compaq but nothing happens, realtek ac97 (SP26490) can anyone help me please. Thanks, aldoibarraperez@yahoo.com.mx
Can anyone help? I have Windows XP home edition, and My speakers are on, they are completely connected, both through USB and line in, and I get absolutely no audio. Any suggestions?
The computer I am working with had the partician cleaned (I hope I said that correctly). Well after this the speakers are not working. It is showing to have no audio system installed. I attempted to install new hardware with the existing speakers and this did not work. So, I took another set of speakers and tried that. This did not work either. It is still saying that it can not locate any new hardware and it will not let me change the speaker settings because there are no speackers to be chosen. Please Help!!!
If the speakers are connected to an add-in card on the PC, then go to the web site of the add-in card's manufacturer and download and install the drivers for it.
If the speakers are connected directly to the motherboard, then go to the PC manufacturer's web site and download and install the sound card drivers.
