Late-breaking news! Jeri Ellsworth, creator of the C1 and C64 DTV, has a televised interview on the Portland television station, KGW 8, tonight. (10 o'clock? 11 o'clock?) Those in the Portland, Oregon area, please video-record this. Thanks!

For heaven's sake Bernardo, why don't you just ask Ms. Ellsworth for a date and have done with it? Candlelight and Commodores and mistletoe... Sincerely, and happy holidays,

It is a steep price, but considering what they have to do to make the DVD, they need to mark it that high. Typically when you order clips from a television or radio station, they lookup the tape in thier catalog, fetch it from the archives, duplicate the tape and then mail it. The A/V department is not a copying department, and most stations buy DVD-R's and VHS cassettes as you or I do, right from the store! Although, some stations do charge lesser prices. Maybe it'd be cheaper next time to phone someone in the location of the broadcast and ask them to tape it for a small fee? Someone wouldn't mind making 10 or 20 bucks for a strange favor
Just wanted to say that this is a very cool idea. Yeah there's lots of "X games-in-1 joystick" toys being sold, but putting an entire C64 computer in a little joystick is just freaking genius.
Hope you guys can get distribution in the stores, maybe I'll get one myself someday...

When Jeri is in the news, she promotes the heck out of the C64 DTV and/or C1. And yes, the C64 DTV is cool.
Hope you guys can get distribution in the stores...

How much would be a copy of your tape Robert ? I would PayPal you the cost of the tape after the start of the new year.

Agreed. However, it would make a nice New Year's gift when I start > sending the video to the Commodore/Amiga clubs with which I have contact.>

If your getting a DVD-R maybe even a DIVX encode might be nice. Maybe a bittorrent set up for it too? Just a thought.

Hurrah! The DVD-R came in today from Moba Media. Surprisingly, it's not 30 seconds as Jeri described it but really 2 minutes, 12 seconds (including news anchor opening and closing tags). Also it is surprisingly grainy in quality. Lots of DTV close-ups and screenshots of the games. No mention of the CommodoreOne. Jeri herself was quiet and composed. A must-see at next month's FCUG and TOGA meetings!

What is it with you folks out there in Fresno, Kahleeeefornia, anyway? Something in the water? Or the raisins? (BTW Robert, I didn't see any ring on Ms. Ellsworth's left hand so she just might be available.) Sincerely,

What is it with you folks in DC??
You think that you have all the answers and knowledge to boss everyone in the country around???
Must be something in the air there in Washington, Dee Ceee. Lots of dopers and who knows what else is there in Dee Cee besides the many ticks - politicians.. Might even be from all the cell phone microwaves that are bound to be there from all the heavy cell phone usage there.

Any chances of putting it up for download for those who have limited possibilities of visiting FCUG and TOGA meetings?
