Haha, yeah this goes back to BF1 and why I first deleted the demo, later on installing the full game and playing like mad for quite some time.
If I friggin' say map this to this key, delete the other. Retarded.
Really? There's no zoom on the sniper rifle? That's kind of pointless.
Overall, I'm liking the game. But I never have as much fun with it as I think I'm going to. I think I need to find a decent clan and work with them. I haven't observed much team spirit in the public servers.

Another control option rant of mine: Games that INSIST that Left-Arrow bind to "Rotate head left" and keep putting the binding back even I neither want Left-Arrow bound to anything nor do I want a "Rotate head left" key in this age of always-on mouselook.
So finally I find the solution - edit the .cfg file manually and bind every key I don't want to use to "gamma_adjust 0.0" or some other command that does nothing without looking like it does nothing.
In this game's defense, it was one of the few engines that supported chording so I could map "E" to one thing and "Alt-E" to something completely different. Very useful and sadly lacking in most games.
