 Yesterday rgb-er John MadDog Probst disposed of another daughter,
foisting her off onto sometime rgb-er Jon Cooke in the presence of many
bridge players (and some other people). The weather was OK, the bride
was gorgeous and the champagne must have flowed freely because I'm sure
I remember dancing with Tom Townsend towards the end...

Which daughter? Diana or Katherine? (Have i remembered names right?)
The 'another' in your letter suggests Diana? I'm sure the bride WAS
gorgeous --but was that a misprint for 'the bridge' was gorgeous -- i
cant imagine a wedding without a game of cards if John was managing
affairs.
