graid label -h data ad0 ad1 ad2 #whatever your raid name is and devices are
reboot #it should work on reboot
for whatever reason the metadata was corrupted on the disks, you just refresh it by doing the label with the -h option and it SHOULD work |

The built-in modems in the Mac Mini are Motorola SM56 voice modems and they can be used for answering machine applications.
NB: the recently released Apple USB Modem (for use as an external modem on those new Mac Minis and iMacs which have no modems built in anymore) are based on the same Motorola SM56 unit.
The modems use the ITU V.253 command set. You can purchase the V.253 documentation from ITU at
http://www.itu.int/itudoc/itu-t/com16/contr/033.html
or maybe you'll find some snippets of it somewhere on the internet. |

I have a MaxAttach NAS4200 that was working really bad with windows. I finally install Debian on it, but it's reboot after 10 minuts (just the base system).
I'm thinking that some how, the coolr system "need" somthing in windows the work propertly.

I do have an ASUS P4R800-VM mb built on ATI IXP 200 chipset and was heavily searching for the cause why I couldn't set up my FreeBSD to run any sounds. Until I happened to read this thread. Unfortunately I havo no experience and enough brains to write myself a new drivers, thus I am wondering if this topic was given an appropriate attention and maybe someone has a workaround already.

Matt, this may sound like a daft question, but are you sure that it is operating as a PPPoA<>PPPoE bridge? I have read posts elsewhere that suggest it actually runs as a PPPoE<>PPPoE bridge (i.e. it simply bridges the 2 physical layers and leaves all higher level protocols untouched). Not all BT exchanges and ISP gateways are PPPoE enabled; which would explain why it works for some and not others - and also why it worked for some temporarily until BT removed the unofficial PPPoE support at their local exchange... Have you ever been able connected to Demon using PPPoE in unbridged mode? If not, then that definately clarifies the matter! ;) |

I think I have the same problem with same PowerEdge 2850 Dual Xeon EM64T and Freebsd 5.3 RELEASE. Hope Freebsd 5.4 STABLE will fix this.
With Freebsd 5.3, install program boots but I have unexpected I/O errors or crash during file transfert from CD to HDD or even FTP to HDD.
Dell Poweredge 2850 has a bios option to limit memory to 256Mb (install mode).
This way you can install. After install, and after disabling install mode, I have random crashes during CD access or kernel complilation, but surprisingly ungziping a big file (2Go) never crash.
What is your experience since 11 december 2004 ? Any news, feedback or hint to have a Dell PowerEdge running corectly on amd64 Freebsd ?
