chipset, but I have tried 810 chipset. The card is good because it will work
with my FIC SD11 AMD mobo. Tried latest drivers from ALi, just keep locking
up PC at find new hardware. Also, I tried playing with BIOS settings no

| | Ok, first off some specs on my computer are:
-Asus A7N8X Deluxe rev2.0 Mobo
-120Gig IDE HDD
-120Gig Sata HDD (problem)
Ok, well I'm not the greatest at computers, and I've been trying to find a
way to instal the drivers for the sata harddrive, I've searched for two days
but can't find any good walkthroughs, or similar problems. I want to know
what files to put on the floppy and then how to get them to instal once on
the floppy. For the harddrives, I want to have the SATA harddrive as just
another directory, I have C and D on my IDE, and maybe a E and F on the Sata
one, anyone have similar problems? I tried installing the driver but nothing
seems to happen with it, and just remains the same, so what drivers, and how
to install them. Thank you in advance.

| | I have an HMD (hand me down) computer from No one son of mine which
according to all software I have has an IDE DVD-ROM 16X. The
manufacturer is Afree, no other details are available. It automagically
loads any CDs put into it but not DVDs. I have tried Windows Media
Player to open DVDs but to no avail. It just doesn't see the DVD drive.
It is registered for european area (I'm in England) and has four
registrations still available.....whatever that means.
Am I missing a driver? Is it so old that XPpro is not compatible with
the thing? It has an athlon 1Gb thingey in it. What else does it need if
anything?
Any pointers would be helpful.

Can anyone help with a driver for a TDE Systems MP3 Player. Model is C17O008
or N130001 (depending on how I interpret casing).
When it connect via a USB cable it says unknown device.
More Detail:
------------
It seems as though it's from a company called something similar to TDE
Systems - American. I have tried google, yahoo, ask jeeves, alltheweb,
teoma, msn, lycos, technorati, feedster, bloglines, altavista and had no
luck. I had one hit on an ebay cached page that actually showed the player
but did not lead to an online store or retailer.
I don't own the player but a friend bought it for his young daughter from
cash converters and has asked me for help. Any direction would be much
appreciated.

I bought a Prolific PL3507 Combo Device (1394-ATAPI rev1.10) 250 Gb external
harddisk. Unfortunately the disk is not recognized by my computer (Dell
Dimension 4600 with Windows XP SP2 and two internal harddisks). Neither the
FireWire connection, nor the USB connection is recognized. The disk is,
however, recognized by my laptop with Win XP professional, but I want to use
it for my desktop computer.
Please help me to solve this problem asap.

inch drive through an addapter and write blocking device (fastbloc FE)
this works on just about everything except the travelstar disks it
thinks the drive is not ready and wont assign a drive letter.
Could this be a driver issue?
Any ideas?
