 The big news is, my wife just bought me a DVD recorder
for Christmas. It's made by RCA (model: DRC8295N) It's has both a DVD
recorder and a VHS. It is +R, +RW. It cost $297 at Wal-Mart. Where's a good
place to get +R discs? I won't be able to tell you much more info, like how it
works, until after Christmas. I'm extremely excited.

I can use the (-) but not the(+) and I never seem to able to find the
DVD-RAM ones. The only one I have came with the machine.

Panasonic Recorders can record to the -R discs too.

And the -RAM discs are not that expensive considering buying them is a
one-time expense since they can be rewritten thousands (supposedly
100,000) times.

Lack of RW support could be an issue for some people, but it isn't for
me.

Keep your eye out for sales on Panasonic DVD-RAM. On sale they
go for $1 each.

Keep your eye out for sales on Panasonic DVD-RAM. On sale they>go for $1 each.

True, but the RW disks often go for about a third of that...
