 Unit started acting up Christmas eve... Picture would freeze & eventually
restart.
I restarted the machine several times to no avail. I then tried the setup
option in an
attempt to"refresh" the machine... No luck- I now get an error "S03" after
receiving
19% of the data when dialin up for update.

Any suggestions as to a solution ?

Any suggestions as to a solution ?

The next, drastic, thing to try is a 'Clear and Delete Everything'.
That will reset the unit to factory, basically, flushing all settings,
recordings, ratings, etc. Then you re-set it up.

You could also call support and see if they have other options.
